Features New bedrooms and kitchens in 2024 Cedar House is one of our smaller properties, home to just 101 other students. But it’s part of our vibrant Student Village of more than 1,000 other students. Choose an en-suite room to get your own bathroom and to share your kitchen with flatmates. Alternatively, opt for a studio to get your own private kitchen and bathroom. Cedar House is located in the centre of Liverpool’s Knowledge Quarter, just a two-minute walk from Liverpool John Moores and University of Liverpool campuses. This part of Liverpool is ideal for students. The city’s two universities, two stunning cathedrals, and major train stations are all here. And it’s full of great food and drink, nightlife, and culture too.

Payment and cancellation

Cancellation: If you need to change or cancel your booking with us, you can do so but you may still be liable to pay your rent if you completed your booking and are outside the cooling off period. You can find out more information in We understand that applying for a University place or a visa application can be a stressful process. That's why if you don't get the results you need or your visa application is declined, we'll cancel your booking free of charge giving you peace of mind. This cancellation request is available to customers who have not yet checked in. If you have already checked in please speak to your property manager. If you have already checked into your room and you wish to cancel or amend your booking please contact your property reception team who will be happy to advise you on the next steps. Deposit: Advance rent has replaced deposits for most of our bookings. Some students who book through their university may still be required to pay a deposit. Customers who have previously paid a deposit will have their deposit returned when rebooking. Advance rent is our new upfront payment type. It is a payment of a set amount (usually £250) towards your first rent instalment and is required at the point of booking. Advance rent will be exempt from anyone booking in Scotland, paying in full, rebooking or booking after the due date of the first instalment.

Guarantor: A guarantor is required for all customers who book directly with us. If your guarantor does not accept the agreement, your booking will expire and you could lose your room.
