If you like the idea of living by yourself, choose a studio room to have your own bathroom and kitchen. If you’d prefer to live with flatmates, choose one of our en-suite rooms. The Old Printworks has a small common room on the ground floor, with sofas and a TV for chilling out and a couple of desks for zoning in on assignments. There’s also a free gym on-site, the perfect place to let off some steam. Nestled between the wide open spaces of the Meadows and Holyrood Park, the Old Printworks is perfect if you’re studying at the University of Edinburgh, it’s just a 10-minute walk from campus. As well as being just moments from the historic Old Town, you’re only 10 minutes by bus from Edinburgh Waverley station and Princes Street. And the laid-back areas of Newington and Bruntsfield, ideal for a lazy weekend, are even closer.

Cancellation
If you need to change or cancel your booking with us, you can do so but you may still be liable to pay your rent if you completed your booking and are outside the cooling off period. That's why if you don't get the results you need or your visa application is declined, we'll cancel your booking free of charge giving you peace of mind. This cancellation request is available to customers who have not yet checked in. If you have already checked in please speak to your property manager. Deposit
Advance rent has replaced deposits for most of our bookings. Some students who book through their university may still be required to pay a deposit. Customers who have previously paid a deposit will have their deposit returned when rebooking. Advance rent is our new upfront payment type. It is a payment of a set amount (usually £250) towards your first rent instalment and is required at the point of booking. Advance rent will be exempt from anyone booking in Scotland, paying in full, rebooking or booking after the due date of the first instalment.

Guarantor
A guarantor is required for all customers who book directly with us. If your guarantor does not accept the agreement, your booking will expire and you could lose your room.
